The media on my writing:

"I can't wait to see your first film!" - Quentin Tarantino (Pulp Fiction, Once Upon a time in Hollywood)

"You are certainly talented enough to make it in my opinion." - Rupert Heath, The RH Agency

Praise for 'Backstabbers'
"I enjoyed reading your script... it successfully transported me back to the period you are writing, the way you write characters is authentic and relatable. There are some lovely moments in the script where you really capture the setting with great atmosphere and texture." - Phil Hunter, Exec. Producer, Tall Story Pictures (Criminal Record, Vera, Midsomer Murders)

"... It’s very well written with excellent characters, dialogue and a thorough grasp of story structure. The story world is engaging and well-crafted... The period elements... give the piece a distinctive feel and also compliment the comedy itself. It is funny, and the overall tone is fun and engaging... there’s real potential here. RECOMMENDATION: READ" - Script report, Gobby Girl Productions

"This is a really imaginative premise and promises to be deftly plotted..." - Lucy Morris, Curtis Brown

"Enjoyed it very much... your sense of humour and style are much in evidence!" - The Ki Agency

Praise for 'Nostalgia'
"You capture emotion so beautifully, and the writing is so elegant and poetic… It's definitely a story that is very thought-provoking." - Jennifer Kuo, Reader

"Great premise and well realized. A unique take on a character struggling with grief and regret. Interesting inverse of Eternal Sunshine Of The Spotless Mind. A machine that brings forth memories, vs a machine that erases them… The intensity of the memories in the machine translated well onto the page... The memories bleeding over into the real world, like at the family meeting was very effective." Chris Szuca, Reader

Praise for 'Nostalgia' short story

I love this short script.  The dialogue is strong and flows well.  What I love about the story is the way the author sets the stage for how the character needs to get his "fix" from his past - as surely as some are driven by the need for a drug.  You get the feeling that his present life has become such a disappointment that he is driven to go back and relive a past that he loved.  Even in the span of just two short pages, the author is able to give enough description to the main character that you get some idea of how he feels about his present life's circumstances and how he would do almost anything just to go back and re-live even a moment from his past.  The story is unique and original in its concept.  Loved it!... a strong concept that encourages the reader to think and ask questions.  It's one of the best short-short stories I've read." Reader, Circalit.

Praise for 'Viktorialand'
"I loved this story.  The evolution of both characters and the issues they face in their relationship ring true.  If you have ever been a parent, ever experienced the inevitable head-slams that hit you straight out of left field, you will relate to this tale.  The characters feel alive and their story is a modern-day, hit-by-the-recession, reflection of what a lot of people are experiencing - right next to the issues every parent finds after they get that first bit of advice - 'sleep whenever you can".  It's funny... and moves along fast.  Great story." Reader, Circalit
