The Antithesis of Lena Dunham's "Girls"!
 

Martin and Kat: Both single, in their 40's - and both have lost everything.

 

 

Left with no option, they move back to their home town - and live with their parents.

 

Ever-responsible Kat has to contend with her ex-model mother whilst restarting her career and finding a new home. Martin sinks back into the life of a teenager, hooking up with his old school pals and reigniting reckless behaviour; all the while struggling with depression.
 

Whilst selling furniture in order to pay the rent, Kat sells a designer arm chair to someone off a internet sales website. Someone called Martin.
 

A platonic friendship blossoms; Both identifying with each other's plight. They know they must get their lives back on track, but their dreams for a better future collide with their old lifestyles. Both trying to escape whilst those around them keep pulling them back in.
